I have been practicing as a physiotherapist since 2008, and in Pelvic and Women’s Health physiotherapy since 2016. I have been using Pilates, mostly reformer based, and trigger point dry needling in my practice since 2012.
I am passionate about Women’s health and promoting healthcare in this field. Pelvic and Women’s Health physiotherapy involves the management of conditions related to the women’s pelvis such as pelvic organ issues like prolapse, incontinence, pain, pelvic floor disorders, and conditions related to a women’s life stage, such as pregnancy, post partum, menopause. I also fit and manage pessaries for continence and pelvic organ prolapse.
I am registered with the Physiotherapy Board NZ, PNZ, and the PNZ PWMH SIG. I am studying the PG Cert (Women’s Health) at the University of Auckland, due to complete in mid 2025.
